DAY 1: MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU – BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY
6 HOURS DRIVE
Your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes begins with collection from your designated pickup point in Marrakech. The journey takes you through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, where steep roads wind through spectacular panoramic views.
After approximately six hours of driving, we’ll descend to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Here, you’ll explore the walled souk area with its fascinating market wares and historic architecture.
Continuing our adventure, we’ll cross the desert oasis at Skoura and visit the fragrant Valley of the Roses. The route then ascends along the famous “Road of 1001 Kasbahs,” offering glimpses of these remarkable fortified dwellings.
Your first night will be spent in a comfortable hotel in the Dades Valley, where dinner will be served.
DAY 2: BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGE – MERZOUGA
4 HOURS DRIVE
After a hearty breakfast at your Dades Valley hotel, we’ll embark on a four-hour drive to Merzouga. The journey includes a stop at the small town of Tinghir, where you can walk through the lush Todra oasis before exploring the dramatic canyons.
We’ll also visit the towns of Erfoud and Rissani before arriving at our destination in Merzouga. Here, a camel caravan awaits to take you on an hour-long ride through the magnificent Erg Chebbi Dunes, timed perfectly to coincide with the setting of the Saharan sun.
Tonight, you’ll experience authentic desert hospitality at a Bedouin camp nestled among the dunes.
DAY 3: MERZOUGA
Today is dedicated to enjoying the wonders of Merzouga. After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have free time to relax by the pool or explore the various activities available in the desert area. Optional activities include quad biking, buggy riding across the dunes, and biking (at additional cost).
The day concludes with a delicious dinner and another night in your Merzouga hotel.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA – MIDELT – IFRAN – FES
8 HOURS DRIVE
Rise early to witness the magnificent desert sunrise before enjoying breakfast. We’ll then begin our journey to Fes, with stops at Midelt (known as the “City of Apples”) and Ifrane (nicknamed “Little Switzerland” for its alpine-style architecture).
